Vince Gilligan Would Appreciate It If Fans Would Stop Throwing Pizzas Onto The Roof Of The Breaking Bad House

Uproxx- Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul creator Vince Gilligan stopped by the Better Call Saul Insider Podcast to discuss Episode 6 of the hit series, but he had a more pressing issue on his mind that he needed to disclose first. The Albuquerque residence that once housed Walter White and his family is being vandalized by Breaking Bad fans who find it humorous to throw pizzas on the roof, and Vince is none too pleased about it.Walt infamously tossed a pizza on the roof of his home (see below) in one episode of the monstrous hit AMC series, and since then, people have a hard time not reenacting the scene whenever they pass by the New Mexico residence. There’s a big problem with this, though: A nice lady lives there and is not pleased with cheesy delicacies taking residence on her abode.Jonathan Banks, who plays Mike Ehrmantraut on both programs, also added that he would “hunt down” those responsible for the pizza chucking. So, c’mon, you guys. It was funny for a sec. Now, Mike is going to kill you, and being killed by a fictional character is not as fun as it sounds.

Hilarious.  Breaking Bad fans just can’t stop wan’t stop throwing pizza on Walter White’s house despite there being a little old lady that lives there.  It happens so frequently that Vince Gilligan even had to tell people to stop doing it.  Gilligan actually sounded pissed when he said it.  I get that.  Somebody lives there and people are kinda being jackasses by doing it.  But come on, you’re telling me the thought wouldn’t cross your mind if you were in Albuquerque?  It would absolutely be something I’d think about doing.  Just because it’d be funny and a good story.  IMO they should just turn the Walter White house into a museum and let people throw pizzas on the roof all day long.  Pay the lady a large lump sum of cash, hire some movers, install a pizza oven inside and go nuts.  Pizza roof throws for all!

PS- How are you feeling if you’re Vince Gilligan right about now in terms of life?  Pretty great I would have to imagine.  He wrapped up Breaking Bad which people called one of the best shows of all time (and it is).  Then he seamlessly trasitions to Better Call Saul that gets the biggest series premiere debut ever and now people are freaking out over the latest episode calling it one of the greatest ever in the history of TV.  Incredible.  I love both shows.  Gilligan just knows how to make super interesting television.
